Meet Ayyva

Most firms buy one tool for tax research and another for tax planning, and neither one lives where the work happens.

Ayyva is all three: primary-law research with every quote checked against its source, an advisory scan across your entire client base, and an assistant that carries out the follow-up inside Arrive, with nothing sent until you approve it.

/01The four pillars

Four jobs a firm currently buys separately.

Research tools stop at the first. Planning tools stop at the second. Practice management stops at the third. Ayyva runs all four, in one place, on the same data.

01Research

The sources

Answers built from the Code, Treasury Regulations, the Internal Revenue Bulletin, IRS publications and form instructions, with superseded guidance tracked so retired rulings aren't cited as live.

Every quote checked word-for-word against its source

02Advisory scan

Your book

Reads the returns you have already filed, straight from UltraTax, CCH and Lacerte, and flags advisory opportunities across every client at once rather than one plan at a time.

Each finding priced, with the calculation behind it

03Live data

Your firm

Answers from your own records instead of a stale report: what's due this week, which clients are outstanding, how a matter stands, and what QuickBooks has seen lately.

Reports and custom exports on request

04Action

The work

Creates the task, drafts the message, requests the documents, prepares the engagement letter, records the payment. The follow-up that turns a finding into an engagement.

Every action staged for approval before it happens

/01Features

What one assistant can hold at once.

Three jobs that usually take three vendors: the advisory scan, defensible tax research, and an assistant that acts inside your firm.

Scans the whole book

Not one client at a time. Ayyva reads every return in your tax software and flags each advisory opportunity, per client, per year, per strategy.

Shows its work

Every finding carries the figures read off the return, the IRS constants it used with the section they come from, the formula step by step, and an honest caveat.

Research you can defend

Answers cite the statute, regulation, Rev. Proc. or publication they came from. Every quote is checked word-for-word against the source, and dropped if it doesn't match.

Pillar one · your book

The plan you'd never have billed the hours to find.

  • Planning software asks you to pick a client and spend hours building one plan, so you only ever look at the clients you already suspect.
  • Ayyva reads UltraTax, CCH and Lacerte backups directly and flags every opportunity across the book at once, with no questionnaire to fill in.
  • Each finding comes with an estimated saving, a suggested fee, and the calculation behind both.

Pillar one · the evidence

Every number comes with its own receipt.

  • The figures read off the return, the IRS constants used, and the section each one comes from.
  • The formula step by step, so a finding can be checked rather than trusted.
  • An honest caveat on every estimate, because a flag is an opportunity to verify, not a filed position.

Pillar two · the sources

If the quote doesn't match the source, you never see it.

  • Answers are built from primary law: the Code, Treasury Regulations, the Internal Revenue Bulletin, IRS publications and form instructions.
  • Superseded guidance is tracked, so a retired Rev. Proc. doesn't get cited as if it were live.
  • Every quoted passage is machine-checked against its source before you see it. Anything that fails is dropped, not flagged.

Pillar three · the work

An assistant with her hands tied on purpose.

  • Ayyva can create tasks, draft messages, request documents and prepare letters across your firm.
  • Every one of those is staged as an approval card before it happens.
  • A firm usage view tracks what was approved, what's waiting, and what was declined.
F.A.Q

Frequently asked questions.

How does the advisory scan get my data?

From the tax software you already use. Ayyva reads UltraTax, CCH and Lacerte backups directly, including bulk exports, so there's no questionnaire to fill in and no re-keying of returns you have already filed.

Is a finding a filed position?

No. Every opportunity is potential, pending verification. It carries the rule that fired, the evidence behind it, and a confidence level, then waits for a human to review, propose or dismiss it. The estimates are estimates, and each one states its own limitation.

How do you know what to charge?

Each strategy carries a default fee range and an estimate of the hours behind it, from reasonable compensation at $1,500 to $3,500 through to an R&D credit study at $5,000 to $15,000. Your firm can override the whole rate card, or switch a strategy off.

Can I trust the tax research?

The answers are built from primary sources rather than a summary of them, and every quote is verified word-for-word against the cited authority before it is shown. Anything that fails that check never reaches you. Answers are labelled general information, not tax advice.

Does Ayyva act on its own?

No. Anything that reaches a client or changes your data is staged as an approval card. It only executes when you confirm, and you can edit the details or cancel first.

What else can she do day to day?

Answer questions from live firm data, run and export reports including custom ones, look up QuickBooks activity, and take an @ mention to pin a client or teammate to the conversation. She is available from any screen in Arrive.
